Pick Up:
  • We pick you up from your hotel around 8: 00 am, 50 minutes away by comfortable bus. Then head to the town of Al tor, where in the green oasis are the Baths of MOSES (thermal springs).
Moses Bath Visiting Sites;
St. George’s Church:
  • Then next to it there emerged a small monastery. But soon the Bedouins ruined it and killed the monks. They are known in the history of the Church as the 40 Sinai martyrs Later in the Torah on the shore of the sea was created a new monastery belonging to the Sinai Orthodox Church.
  • It served as a haven for pilgrims heading to the Sinai mountain. Now the monastery is empty, but its Church, which bears the name of St. George, is still active. The Church was built in the late nineteenth Century. Its iconoclastic is of Russian work.
Moses Bath:
  • Moses turned to God and spoke: “Lord, help us. If this water is suitable for drinking, but we are not awarded, then make it unfit for drinking and bless us.” And so it was done.
  • From that day this source is named Ham-mam Moussa and this water is not suitable to drink anymore but it is blessed with beneficial properties.
  • The water is 27 degrees and is beneficial for skin diseases and arthritis because of the high percentage of magnesium, sodium and sulphur.
  • The feeling you have after bathing can best be described as: You feel relaxed and you will feel a tingling sensation on your skin when all the little bubbles stay on it. For days your skin feels more tight and stronger.
  • Ham-mam Moussa is surrounded by palm trees and they are currently working on the construction of several guest stays. Today there are thermal baths made around this natural hot spring.
