What to Expect
Excursion Overview:
Day 1: Aswan
Your tour starts with pickup from your hotel, the airport, or the railway station in Aswan.
Travel to the Aswan High Dam, built across the river Nile. Board a motorboat to travel to the Temple of Philae, dedicated to the Egyptian goddess Isis.
Stroll around the site and see engravings of scenes from ancient myths. Stay overnight in Aswan.
Day 2: Luxor East Bank
After pickup from your hotel, travel to Aswan railway station. Enjoy the 3-hour journey to Luxor by train.
Once you arrive, your guide will drop you off at your Luxor hotel where you can take a break.
Discover Luxor’s east bank in the afternoon. Visit the amazing Luxor Temple, followed by the Karnak temple complex.
Admire the religious site dedicated to the god Amon, his wife Mut, and their son Khonsu. Stay overnight in Luxor.
Day 3: Luxor West Bank
After pickup, journey to the west bank of Luxor.
Discover the Valley Of The Kings, the burial site of famous Pharaohs on the west bank of the Nile.
Head to the temple of Queen Hatshepsut, one of the most impressive monuments in Egypt.
Finally you’ll visit the Colossi of Memnon, two statues representing Amenhotep III.
After this, you’ll be dropped off at your hotel, the airport or the railway station in Luxor.
