The historic city is located on the West Bank of the Nile, 230 km from Hurghada.

Start of the day by Abydos Temple:
The temples at Dendera and Abydos (ancient name of Teira and Abju) the most impressive and interesting.
The temples are characterized by unusual architecture and an abundance of well-preserved.
Abydos is the oldest archaeological city in Upper Egypt, it is more than 5000 years old) Abydos (Abju) was the place of worship of the God Osiris and the burial place of the pharaohs.
In Abydos is one of the best preserved monuments of Ancient Egypt-the funeral temple of the Pharaoh of the 19th dynasty SETI I.
And behind the temple is another, more ancient temple, which is partially flooded during the rise of the water level in the Nile, but even this will not prevent You from admiring the sacred “Flowers of Life” and “Wheels of Time” on the granite columns of Osireion.
Some hieroglyphs depicted on one of the ceiling vaults of the temple, resemble images of modern technology (submarine, tank and helicopter).
And Then Dendera Temple:
After lunch we will go to Dendera, to the temple of the goddess Hathor.
The temple of the goddess of love Hathor in Dendera (Tentira) is perfectly preserved, as it was under the Sands until the end of the 19th century.
Hathor was worshipped in ancient times, and today pilgrims visit the temple and perform their mysterious rites here).
You will see a copy of the famous Dendera Zodiac, the oldest astrological and astronomical images.
You can also visit one of the 11 underground crypts of the temple, reliefs on the walls which tell the story of the temple, here on the walls you will see images of giant electric lamps.
